This day of kayaking in the amazing Stockholm archipelago will give you an unforgettable adventure. You will explore this unique nature on your own, in one of our kayaks'. Where the kayak takes you is up to you. However, a recommended place to pass is 'Håtö Svansar' that inspired the legendary Swedish song writer Evert Taube to write his famous song ' Roslagens famn'. Maybe this beautiful place, will also bring out the creative side in you. If you feel fit and the wind is with you then another choice for the day could be to explore the oldest National Park of Sweden Ängsö. To paddle to Ängsö- will take you approximately 4 hours.

When you feel tired, you can find a nice exclusive spot to stay to enjoy the lunch provided. Your picnic basket will be packed with tasty smoke salmon or roast beef accompanied with a typical Swedish potato salad, bread, fruit and refreshments.

Your journey will not begin until we have made sure you feel comfortable with the kayak and its equipment. Together we will go through the safety instructions and your kayak and equipment handling. Of course we will also show you the basic paddling techniques so you will have a pleasant day kayaking. Before starting your trip you will as well receive information about the area and recommended paddling routes.

Your day of exploring the archipelago will see its end at 17.00 when the kayak has to be returned.

Arrival information:
It is easy to reach us from Stockholm. If you don't have your own car you can take the bus from KTH (The Royal Institute of Technology).
