Liability
All kayaking is done at your own risk, and all participants must be able to swim.
A life jacket must be worn at sea at all times.
We request that you leave a general description of your route at Kajak & Uteliv, and that you inform us immediately of any delays.
The customer is responsible for all damages to kayaks and other equipment during the rental period, and damages must be paid for upon return of the kayak or equipment.
Please ensure that you have adequate sickness and accident insurance before your trip or course. Your home insurance policy may apply, and an "All risk" supplement is usually sufficient (for Swedish residents).
All kayaks must be returned washed, both inside and out, with fresh water. Kajak & Uteliv will charge the customer for cleaning if any equipment is returned dirty.

Bookings and payment
Bookings can be made by e-mail, telephone or fax. All bookings are binding. Cancellation insurance is available in the case of illness (see below).
Booking conditions:
30% of the rental fee to be paid 29-14 days before the start of the rental period.
50% of the rental fee to be paid 13-7 days before the start of the rental period.
The balance of the rental fee is to be paid at the latest at the start of the rental period.
The entire rental fee must be paid immediately for bookings made 0-7 days before the start of the rental period.
Kajak & Uteliv has the right to cancel a booking if fees are not paid in accordance with the conditions stated above.

Cancellations
For bookings cancelled less than 7 days before the start of the rental period, the booking fee will not be refunded.
For bookings cancelled less than 7 days but more than 24 hours before the start of the rental period, you will be charged 50% of the total rental fee. For cancellations within 24 hours of the start of the rental period, you will be charged the full rental fee.

Cancellation insurance
You can order cancellation insurance at the time of booking (SEK 100/kayak) to cover cancellations if you or a member of your party becomes ill. A medical certificate is required for all refunds.

Kayaks and equipment
Kajak & Uteliv undertakes to provide clean, fully-equipped seaworthy kayaks in good condition, equipped with any additional equipment ordered by the customer.
